Sign up Deadline is September 27,2008 Contact Jennifer Shadrick if you are interested. The upcoming CROP Hunger Walk for Sunnyside Ministries will be held on October 19, 2008. Senior Youth are going to walk this year, however anyone is welcome to participate. Youth are raising money to be a sponsor, and plan to walk in the CROP Hunger Walk. |

Derek Morris with the Extension Service invtes Senior Friends and
Advent Members to the Paw Paw Festival at the Arboretum in Tanglewood.
Admission is free. Samples of treats made with Paw Paws will be available (Milkshakes, cookies, cake, bread and ice cream) Seating will be arranged. Those taking cars are asked to tell the gate that they are attending the Paw Paw Festival. The church van will leave at 10:15 AM and limited seats are available. Charles Krites will be the driver. Please call Anne Hemric 788-5764 to reserve a seat. |

Creative Ministries is sponsoring a fundraiser for our youth missions.
Tickets are $7.00 for Adults and $5.00 for ages 18 and under. Live entertainment with Taylor Vaden as Elvis impersonator, Jukebox with 50's music(free) and hot dog supper included in ticket. Contact Peggy Dunevant or a youth for tickets. Help from church members is needed. We need volunteers to help set up and cook, also help with the sound system. We have a few teens who have volunteered to serve as wait staff but we need more. Creative Ministries coordinator is Peggy Dunevant. |

Womens Fellowship members and helpers are invited to help make chicken pies
for the fall fundraiser. Bring your enthusiasm and a pot luck dish.
Pie making starts at 6:00PM and will end with a pot luck supper.
