SPECIAL SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAMS

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
11:00 AM

We have formal Worship in the main sanctuary every Sunday.  Join us for a uplifting time of praise and worship.  Scripture readings, music and preaching are all a part of this service.

ADULT PROGRAMS

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP

The Women's Fellowship of Advent Moravian Church includes all women of the congregation.  We gather once each month for "Circle" meetings.  There are meetings on Tuesday and Thursday, meeting eight times during the year, and four other times during the year for our "General" Fellowship, when our Circles plan seasonal activities.

SENIOR FRIENDS

Advent Senior Friends meet at noon on the first Tuesday of each month for a delicious "potluck" luncheon.  Everyone 55 and older is cordially invited to join our fellowship of fun, good food, spiritual growth and participate in our outings and activities.

Music Offerings

Advent services include music. 
Youth Choir is available around the Christmas and Easter Holidays.

Adult Choir

 Adult Choir performs every Sunday, at Lovefeast services and special music services several times a year.  The Adult Choir meets for practice every Wednesday night at 7:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary.  Anyone wishing to join the choir should be at least 16 years of age and attend practice on Wednesday evenings.   Auditions are not required.

Advent/Hopewell Band

 Advent has a band in combination with the Hopewell congregation.  . The Advent/Hopewell Band performs 6 to 8 concerts in the spring, summer, and fall.   There are four additional concerts at Christmas. The concerts are at Church and various community venues. The Band provides music for funerals Lovefeast services, and several other functions and services.  . All ages are encouraged to participate. SPECIAL PROGRAMS for CHILDREN & YOUTH

NURSERY

We provide a nursery during Sunday School and the Sunday morning Worship Service. The nursery is available for most of our special programs. It is well equipped for both infants and toddlers, and is staffed by loving, caring members of Advent.
