ADVENT Mission Projects

Donations and Volunteers are needed.

Advent will have a collection box for non-perishable food items on the porch of the church office. Please leave donations there.

There will be a drive-through food drive on December 13, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM at Advent's Fellowship Center. Please bring your food donations for collection at this special Holiday collection since the Thanksgiving Eve service will not be in-person.

G.A.P. (Griffith Assistance Project)

The Elders have approved a project to fill the gap with much needed supplies for Griffith Elementary students and teachers. This is a great way for us to help our neighbors. With parents out of work and with students working online, we want to have school supplies waiting when students return.

The following items are needed:

  • early grades- glue sticks, pencils;

  • upper grades- composition books, pencils;

  • All grades- incentive treat bags/candy, bookmarks, etc;

  • teachers- “fun” pens, pencils, sticky notes.

More details will follow for drop off at the church. Contact Barbara Davis with questions
